Call for Volunteer Executive Director
The Virginia School Plant Management Association’s steering committee is calling for candidates interested in helping lead our state association into the future as our Volunteer Executive Director.
The Virginia School Plant Management Association is pleased to announce that two Virginia Facility Directors and VSPMA Board members recently received National Award recognition at the National School Plant Management Associations annual conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Rick Walters, NSPMA President, VSPMA past president and retired Director of Operations in King William County Public Schools received the Pat Cochrane Memorial Award. This award distinction states, " . . . Each year this award is given to someone in the association who exhibits leadership skills, passion and a vision for the k-12 facilities in America."

Keith Webb, VSPMA Treasurer and Executive Director of Plant Services in Newport News Public Schools received the National School Plant Manager of the Year Award. Within the application this award requires, "Supporting Evidence of Exemplary Contributions to the school plant profession, special accomplishments or programs implemented and school/community/local involvement and volunteerism."

VSPMA PROVIDES GUIDANCE FOR LEAD WATER TESTING IN VIRGINIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS
