The role of a school custodian is everchanging. They are highly trained cleaning and disinfecting specialists one moment, building managers another, and quick to help a lost kindergartener find their class next. Training and developing a team of trusted caretakers requires resources. Creating a place for school facility leaders throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia to share best practices and exchange ideas is not just part of the mission for the Virginia School Plant Manager’s Association (VSPMA), it is the biggest value we bring to our members.
